On October 22, 2007, the tragedy of the Witch Creek Fire struck the San Pascual Valley consuming the avocado orchard of Perrin Oak Ranch. The only thing that was left standing after the fire was the granite boulders that carry the words “Speckle Rock." The inspiring story of how it all came to me was how their slogan was inspired: “Born from the Ashes, Raised on the Vine.” Every bottle of Speckle Rock Vineyards and DG Cellars wine is produced and bottled on-site.
